Penile Curvature

The Truth about Penile Curvature

Is it normal that my penis is curved? Do other guys have a bent penis like me? Does having a crooked penis negatively affect my sex life? These are some of the questions you might be asking yourself if you have a curved penis. Read on to learn the truth about penile curvature.

Having a curved or bent penis is pretty common. Recent surveys show that about 25% of men have penile curvature, varying in degree.

Does having a curved penis affect your sexual relationship?

The answer is yes. Studies show that women prefer a straight penis; both aesthetically and physically.

Ask any woman to draw you a penis on paper and they most likely will draw you a perfectly straight penis, just like how she would prefer her lover’s to be. Physically, it is proven that a straight penis will better stimulate a woman’s G-spot and will feel bigger inside her. A woman’s G-Spot takes up very little real estate and is easy to miss.

Men with more severe penile curvature should go see their doctors to be checked for Peyronie’s disease. If left untreated, Peyronie’s could lead to severe complications and can even lead to impotence.  The percentage of men who suffer from Peyronie’s is much less than men who exhibit penile curvature.

My penis is curved, does that mean that I have Peyronie’s disease?

The answer is no. The cause of Peyronie’s disease is thought to occur through either trauma to the penis, or through an untreated penis curve. Peyronie’s disease is usually accompanied by a plaque, or lump, that forms on the upper or lower side of the penis. It begins as an inflammation and can develop into a hardened scar.

If you are not sure whether you have a curved penis or Peyronie’s disease, we do recommend having it checked by your family doctor. Better off safe than sorry.

Although Peyronie’s disease is more serious than just a regular bent penis, both conditions are treated in the same way.

There are now three different types of treatments for men with bent penises or Peyronie’s disease: a penile traction device, rapomil injections or surgery.  The use of a traction device is considered to be the best alternative to a potentially dangerous surgery or the unpleasant side effects of a pharmaceutical treatment.  A penile traction device such as the Quick Extender Pro has been proven to be free from any side effects when used as instructed.  The traction device will gradually correct penile curvature and act as a brace to breakdown the fibrous plaques caused by Peyronie’s and to safely and naturally restore the normal functions of the penis.

A penile traction device is an ideal solution for men who have a smaller degree of penile curvature. A simple three-month treatment using an all natural, non evasive penile traction device is a much more common sense solution then surgery, especially for someone who only has a small degree of curvature.
